Tech giant Lenovo has introduced the next generation of gaming devices under the Legion and Lenovo LOQ lines. These latest offerings are designed to meet the high demands of modern AAA games while addressing common issues like overheating, promising a smoother gaming experience.
“Our mission is to provide Smarter Technology For All and we achieve this by bringing together the best features and innovations to bring our users the best in performance, design, and functionality,” said Michael Ngan, general manager of Lenovo Philippines.
Ngan emphasized that the new generation of devices brings superior performance, design, and functionality, aligning with the brand’s commitment to innovative technology.
AI-assisted performance boosts
The new Legion and Lenovo LOQ devices feature the Lenovo LA AI Core Chips, which offer customizable AI-assisted performance boosts. This technology enhances frame rates and overall gaming performance. Another advancement is the new thermal design that will support long gaming sessions without compromising device temperature.

Together with Intel, Lenovo introduced the Legion Coldfront Hyper thermal solution in its Legion 7i and Legion 5i models. This system enhances airflow and heat management by directing hot air through a central chamber and keeping it separate from the incoming cool air. This results in cooler device temperatures and higher frame rates.
The Lenovo LOQ line, designed for entry-level gamers, also benefits from these advancements. It incorporates hyperchamber thermal technology, capable of drawing up to an additional 25W of power in Extreme Mode while maintaining lower skin temperatures. This new thermal solution also reduces fan noise, making the devices quieter during intense gaming sessions.

The Legion Gen 9 lineup caters to gamers who require devices that can handle the most demanding games and multitasking. This series includes the Lenovo Legion 9i, Legion 7i, Legion 5i, Legion Pro 7i, and Legion Pro 5i models. Battery power ranges from 80Wh in the Lenovo Legion 5i and Pro 5i to a larger 99.99Whr in the Legion 9i, 7i, and Pro 7i models. The keyboard options vary from a 4-zone RGB backlit TrueStrike keyboard in the Legion 5i models to a per-key RGB backlit keyboard in the higher-end Legion models. Lenovo LOQ Gen 9

The LOQ series features a 15.6-inch display, up to 32GB of memory, and up to 2TB of Gen4 PCIe storage. Pricing for these entry-level models begins at P51,995.
